GL&S was founded by a Niagarian whose family roots in the region span generations. That history represents far more than heritage. It carries with it a deep sense of duty and responsibility—to protect, serve and contribute to the community, Province and Country that have provided generations with opportunity, security and a place to call home.

For GL&S, Niagara is therefore more than our corporate address.

It is part of our corporate DNA.

Niagara has long occupied a unique place in the Canadian story. Its geography, border, transportation corridors, critical infrastructure, economic importance and history have placed the region at the forefront of both Canada’s opportunities and its responsibilities.

From the defence of British North America more than two centuries ago to the security, economic and technological challenges facing Canada today, Niagara has repeatedly stood at what might be described as the “tip of the sword” in the defence of the country.

GL&S intends to honour that history by helping position Niagara to contribute to the next generation of Canadian security, resilience and sovereign capability.
